Creatively Restored Interiors
Studio 184 transforms furniture through various techniques using the one and only original Chalk Paint® decorative paint by Annie Sloan.
Known as “the Best Paint in the World for furniture and cabinetry”, this wonderfully rich, thick and highly pigmented paint adheres to most surfaces without the tedious steps of stripping off the existing finish or sanding down to the bare wood.
Dressers, buffets, kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities and so much more can be transformed and given new life and function. Whether your style is modern American Farmhouse, French Country, Shabby Chic, Traditional or Modern, achieving a new, fresh and updated look in your home for a fraction of the cost of new furniture is possible with Chalk Paint® decorative paint by Annie Sloan.
Studio 184 is a “working studio” where we don’t just schedule demos. Come in, sit and enjoy coffee or tea and observe real furniture being transformed and given new life. Or browse our library of home decorating books for inspiration in planning your home projects.
We are trained and certified instructors for Chalk Paint® decorative paint by Annie Sloan and Artisan Enhancements Faux Finishes and conduct regularly scheduled workshops at Studio 184 where you can learn various Chalk Paint® techniques and many faux treatments for furniture, walls and cabinetry. Packed with information, creativity and fun these workshops provide the skills and confidence for you to transform every room in your home.

Upcycling is the ultimate green. We encourage a more sustainable lifestyle through repurposing, reusing and recycling what you already own.
Our customers and clients may choose to freshen and update their home by commissioning us to transform their existing furniture and cabinetry, by purchasing transformed furniture on display at Studio 184 or by attending one of our workshops to learn how to do it themselves all while enjoying substantial savings compared to purchasing new furniture and cabinetry.
We are a bit “old school” when it comes to providing high-quality professional service and hear so often from repeat customers and referrals that this was another reason they keep coming back.
